As part of the joint data infrastructure of the Research Field Earth and Environment, AWI, GEOMAR and Hereon are establishing a joint MARE DATA HUB in the pilot phase 2019/20. Core of the MARE HUB are the data management services of the three participating institutes: O2A (AWI), OSIS (GEOMAR), HCDC (Hereon).
The goal is their further development and coupling via a service layer (portal), which allows topic-specific access to data and data tools. These views and other cross-center services of the service layer enable users or systems to access and process metadata and data.
